Emily Dubberley loves stories. She has spent the last two decades as a writer, editor, creator and marketer.

She has had written 30 books (fiction and non-fiction) for UK and US publishers including Penguin Random House and Ebury; launched three nationally-distributed magazines; co-written five film scripts; and produced countless blog posts for a diverse array of  brands. She’s also written for titles including Cosmopolitan, The Lancet; Men’s Health and The Guardian.

She has extensive copy-writing experience, working with brands including Sony Playstation Europe, Diageo, Mars, Channel 4, Durex and Phillips across print, radio, mobile and online.

Having worked in online marketing since 1995, SEO is second nature – and she’s constantly looking for new ways to tell stories, from immersive experiences to storytelling in pictures.

Emily has given lectures at universities including Warwick and Loughborough, spoken for the Wellcome Trust and presented a regular podcast for Audible.com. She helped organise Brighton Science Festival for several years, and has also run tents at festivals including Latitude. She is founder of GrowEatGift.com.

Her specialisms include gardening and nature, science, psychology, sexuality, women’s lifestyle, heritage, crafting, and B2B, with particular focus on marketing and tech.

Contact Emily’s agent Chelsey Fox (Fox and Howard) for book projects, or contact her directly for public speaking, commissions and consultancy.
