Thanks for visiting Dubberley.com. This site is designed to help people keep up with my current activities including books, events and marketing projects. It’s also the easiest way to check out some of my previous work, buy my books, read about any forthcoming TV and radio appearances and find out my current availability for projects.

A Book at Bedtime?

Writing books is my main passion. My latest release, The Field Guide to Fucking comes out on June 1st – download a free sample here and pre-order a copy here . The Arousal Box, is the newest addition to the Book in a Box series. If you want to learn seduction techniques that use every sense, buy a copy.

Should you prefer your books in ebook format, my erotica anthology Sexperimental contains a selection of graphic stories with an experimental and dreamlike theme. Be warned, it is very rude.

My latest book to be safely delivered to the publisher is Acrobatic Sex Positions: Moves So Crazy We Dare You to Try Them - out in December but available to pre-order now. I’m now working on my 25th book, for publication next year, but am currently available for commissions.

Flicking the Pages

I write for various magazines and websites, including Cosmopolitan, More and TheSite, and have a regular column in Erotic Trade Only (the UK trade title for the erotic industry) writing about the latest toys, sexual health products and general adult trade news. I’ve been an agony aunt for numerous magazines ranging from Look to Knave, and have a long history of undertaking live features: from being a stand up comedian for a day to having a training session with a professional Dominatrix; learning how to be a cowgirl in Texas to doing flying trapeze on a circus skills course.

In addition to sex, love and relationships, my other specialisms include urban gardening, home-crafts, popular science, books and general lifestyle.

Consultancy

I’m currently working with various clients including Tickled, She Said Boutique and Bibido.com, writing copy for web and print, planning social media campaigns and devising marketing strategies and sales promotion campaigns. I’ve previously worked for brands including Mars, NatWest and Diageo and can offer anything from a single press release to a complete marketing campaign, working both alone and with talented senior level freelance marketeers, designers and photographers.

I am also available as a spokesperson about sex, relationships and social psychology in general, and have worked on this basis with clients including Nandos, Virgin and Philips. This can include radio interviews, articles for syndication, quotes for press releases and more in-depth involvement in campaigns.

Experimental Events

In addition to writing and marketing consultancy, I run the Forest of Thoughts, an events organisation that launched at last year’s Playgroup Festival and has subsequently worked at White Night as part of the wonderful Alternative Village Fete, and with Brighton Science Festival, which had its most succesful year ever attracting nearly 9,000 people. We have a number of events coming soon:

I am also working directly with Brighton Science Festival helping plan next year’s schedule. The themes are Life and Communication: drop me a line if you are interested in getting involved whether as a sponsor, volunteer or in some other capacity.

Fun and Games

In my spare time, I run Groweatgift.com, a guide to urban gardening with ‘how to’ guides to all things grow-your-own, gardening offers, recipes and cocktail recipes to use your home-grown produce and gift ideas that can either be made for your garden, for gardener friends or from the fruit, vegetables and herbs that you grow. Follow it on Twitter @groweatgift. It’s primarily active through Pinterest at the moment but the blog will be updated once the weather stops being so garden unfriendly.

Let me know if you have any gardening products and accessories you are looking to promote. I’m particularly interested in mushroom growing, elegant urban indoor gardening, gardening for children, eco-products and upcycling ideas, vertical gardens, string gardens, gardening and grow your own shows, seed swaps and interesting solar powered light solutions at the moment but I’m always keen to write about the latest trends so if you work with a product that’s connected to gardening (or indeed, cocktails or food) do let me know.
